The Garden Chipping Association (GCA) is the governing body for the game of garden chipping - a pastime that is growing in popularity due to the ease and speed of play, the fun it provides to all generations, and the new meaning and joy it is giving to people's gardens.

This glorious game is played over nine short holes, designed to suit individual gardens. Holes often have obstacles such as bushes, hedges and fences. Players use one club (usually a wedge). Unlike golf, the aim is not to hit the ball into a hole, rather to strike a pot. The average round takes approximately 40 minutes. Players often play two or three rounds, with a meal in between.
