General purpose 8mm diameter 3 strand polypropylene rope, supplied on 220m coils. Available in pale blue, white, green and royal blue.

Our 8mm rope is hard wearing, rot proof, strong and can be used for a number of purposes.

Features:

• Buoyancy - Floatable on water, zero absorption
• Acid Resistance - Good - resistant in chemically active environments
• Alkali Resistance - Good
• Abrasion Resistance - Good
• Elongation - Medium
• Working Temperature - In environments up to 80c, softening temperature 140c, melting temperature 170c
• Coil Length - 220mtrs

This rope has an approximate breaking strain of 960kg.  *PLEASE NOTE* – All tensile break strength tests are carried out to ensure that product & manufacturing processes are being met. These tests are not a certification for the product when it is to be used in a lifting or pulling process.
